Dispatch Clerk
Driver Support
Overview: Overseeing the journey of an order from the moment its placed which includes liaising with drivers, restaurants, CSAs and market owners.
Role Responsibilities:
- Sending out orders with efficiency to their routing.
- Maintain effective and appropriate communication within driver channels.
- De-escalate conversations with Market Operators - explaining dispatch and call center processes effectively and solving Market Operator issues without creating unrealistic expectations.
- Updating the channel or dispatch leads about any market issues and any upset driver or market operator.
- Ensuring orders get placed successfully to keep drivers moving throughout the day.
- Troubleshooting driver and merchant issues to complete orders.
- Checking driver schedules and communicating with the Market Operator to ensure adequate staffing levels.
