The main purpose of the position is to provide application support to internal and external customers and resolve technical issues.

Job description

Responsibility

• Proficient in both written and verbal communication
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Capable of performing effectively under pressure
• Minimum 2 years SQL working experience and knowledge
• Skilled in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, primarily for executing "selects" for troubleshooting and reports.
• Familiarity with Procedural SQL (PL/SQL) is advantageous.
• Basic command line proficiency in Linux is a plus.
• Prior experience working in an international context is advantageous
• Familiarity with Excel (basic proficiency), with an advanced skill set as a bonus.
• Experience in the telematics field is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with any ticketing system is a beneficial skill.

Minimum requirements

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate/ Grade 12.
• IT qualification will be an advantage.
• Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and adapt to challenging situations.
• MS Office Package (Excel - Intermediate).
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure environment, Linux and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to convey complex and difficult issues both verbally and in writing to customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Experience in Professional Service Management tool.
• Level Junior - Intermediate
