Fancourt, South Africas premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route. We are now accepting applications for a Hostess (Restaurant) - someone with drive and passion for the industry and with the ability to maintain the Leading Hotel of the Worlds standards The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills and must be friendly and guest centric. A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, with 1 year experience as a Waitron or Hostess in a 4* or 5* establishment is required. An F&B hospitality certificate in and knowledge of Micros and Guest Connect are advantageous. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Warmly and graciously welcome all guests on arrival;
  • Manage bookings and table plan and accommodate all special seating requests;
  • Accurately record reservations;
  • Record Sunday lunch data base with all necessary details;
  • Cash Up and banking for the evening.
We are looking for candidates who have their own accommodation in George / surrounds, who are prepared to work weekends, Public holiday and shifts, and who are fit and able to carry out the normal responsibilities attached to this role.
