In Store Technician
As a store technician you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring stock levels are adequate. Internal technical support by ensuring all computer equipment (software and hardware) including mobile support services are in full working order all the times. Provide external customers, walk in clients and small businesses with advice relating to computer, mobile, software and hardware functionality. In this role you will be expected overse and be the liaison between the service provider and company ensuring that matters escalted are resolved timeously within the SLA agreements.
Key performance areas : (but not limited to) :
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of tools, spare parts, and equipment inventory to ensure availability.
- Installation and Setup: Installing new equipment or systems and ensuring they function correctly.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining logs of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment usage.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and conducting regular safety checks.
- Customer Support: Assisting customers with technical issues or product-related queries, if applicable.
- Collaboration: Working with other departments to address technical needs or resolve issues.
- Preventative Maintenance: Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- New Business Opportunities: Ensuring that you create awareness in the community and amoungst cutomers to generate revenue and new business opportunities.
