IT Field Technician

IT Field Technician:

Role: Rendering on-site IT support services to clients across the greater Durban area as well as remote IT support to clients across South Africa.

Essential Requirements:

Code 8 drivers license

Minimum Matric with mathematics

Fluent communication in spoken and written English

Minimum 3 years experience in an IT support role

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows desktop & server operating systems

Understanding of Active Directory domains

Proficiency in Microsoft Office application usage and support

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 back-end administration

Understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, Subnets, etc)

Advantageous Skills:

Working knowledge of Mikrotik routers

Working knowledge of Ubiquiti wireless equipment

Experience and proficiency in VoIP telephony platforms

Experience and proficiency in IP CCTV surveillance platforms

Use of a company vehicle is provided during business hours.

A company laptop & peripherals are provided.

Home internet connectivity is provided. This is a hybrid role with working from home allowed when not rendering on-site services at clients premises.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
