Lead Project Manager

VIKAND is seeking a Lead Project Manager for a remote position, based in The Western Cape, South Africa.

The Lead Project Manager requires outstanding organizational and communication skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries and create efficiencies throughout the company. The role will work closely with leadership to strategize and develop long-term plans to increase productivity and improve overall company success. The ideal person will demonstrate a high level of project management experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing projects involving every facet of the business, while collaborating with various departments to ensure cohesive company growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SVP, Medical Operations to assess key company processes and develop strategic plans for ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate on the development of new operational systems and processes to address key company initiatives.
• Provide project management support for new build/new client projects as determined by SVP, Medical Operations.
• Work closely with each departmental representative to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.
• Supports establishment and maintenance of processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
• Collaborates on development/refinement of processes based on outcomes from previous project plans.
• In conjunction with SVP, Medical Operations supports assigned projects by engaging and monitoring departmental resources to ensure project efficiencies and maximize deliverables.
• Participates in professional societies and community events as a VIKAND Ambassador.
• Utilize organizational, communication and leadership skills to help drive departmental and company initiatives forward.
• Able to provide services independently and determine own work schedule to ensure delivery of services within the needs of the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in Project Management required.
• Health care background preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Able to travel worldwide, if necessary.
• Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles.
• Experience in developing platforms and project plans for internal processes.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven success working with all levels of management.
• Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and initiative requirements
