Office Administrator
Location: Amanzimtoti, Durban | Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is great with people, and has a flair for organization and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Sales Support
- Contact potential customers to generate leads and set appointments for the external sales team
- Assist with customer visit reports for external sales representatives
- Prepare and send quotations to customers
Administrative Support
- Handle general office administrative tasks and assist with ad hoc duties as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing and documentation
- Support management with routine admin requests
Payroll Administration
- Reconcile payroll schedules and calculations
- Assist with payroll submissions and documentation
- Keep abreast of all payroll-related changes (rates, tax, legislation) and ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar administrative or sales support role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with payroll processes and systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar) an advantage
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy work environment
