Physiotherapist
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Locum Physiotherapist to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy services, focusing on patient rehabilitation, pain management, and mobility improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to aid recovery and improve physical function.
Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards in physiotherapy practice.
Requirements:
Qualifications: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy.
Registration: Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) (or relevant regulatory body).
Experience: Minimum of [2] years of experience in a clinical setting. Locum experience is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Adaptability in different clinical environments.
Availability: Flexible working hours depending on patient needs and clinic requirements.
