• BSc: Eng Civil/ B Eng Civil/ BTech in Civil or
• chemical engineering degree with postgraduate coursework

in wastewater process or Project Management

• Registration or eligible for registration as Pr Eng or Pr Tech would

be advantageous

• 3 years relevant experience in Project Management/ design of

projects in the water and wastewater treatment field

• Computer literacy - MS Applications, SAP, MS Projects, SAP

Project Systems (PS) and SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

• Prepared to work outside normal working hours when required

and must be physically fit

• Valid code EB (08) drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

• Providing project management support to senior project

managers and teams serving on major works multi-disciplinary project Teams, for investigations, design, project management, contract administration, construction supervision, commissioning and hand-over of future infrastructure, upgrades of present infrastructure and operational driven technical projects.

• Management of minor works package and
• Assistance with the preparation of capital and operating

estimates within a planned project, and controls expenditure against the approved project budget allocations.

• Establishing and setting monthly capital expenditure targets,

monitoring actual monthly expenditure, and reporting on variances from predicted expenditure.

• Drafting correspondence of a more complex nature
• Assist in compiling technical specifications, and other

contract administration

• Supervise project administrative staff
