Receptionist

TAH Durbanville forms part of TAH (The Animal Hospital & Vetshop) and is looking for a receptionist to join their fab team. TAH is a growing and employee-centered network of vet practices committed to building motivated teams who create happy clients and healthy pets.

The receptionist is often the first contact a pet owner has with a practice and is therefore a critical role in determining the client experience and reputation of the practice in their local community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience during appointments and over the telephone by providing timely assistance, clear communication, and personalized service.

• Coordinate reception operations: Complete front office reception processes accurately and maintain back office admin processes accurately.

• Oversee reception and shop area - Ordering food and Labelling stock.

Requirements and skills:

Education: Grade 12

Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in a client-facing role. Previous experience in a veterinary practice is an advantage.

Skills: Bilingual (English & Afrikaans), Computer Literate, Product Knowledge, Switchboard.
