Customer Service Agent - Remote in South Africa.

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our customer service team.

The Customer Service Agent will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support via phone, email, and live chat.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to think critically, and a desire to go above and beyond to assist customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various channels (chat)
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods/tools
  • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, new company policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
