Job Description Position: Flint Manager
Job Summary:
The Flint Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, optimization, and integration of telematics systems in fleet and operational environments. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, enhances operational efficiency, and drives data-driven decision-making. The Flint Manager will also focus on risk management, cost reduction, and improving overall performance through telematics technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Telematics Integration & Management:
- Implement and oversee telematics systems for fleet and asset tracking.
- Ensure real-time monitoring of vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and driver behavior.
- Analyze telematics data to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks related to fleet and asset management.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize fleet utilization.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Generate detailed reports using telematics insights to improve operations.
- Identify trends and recommend actions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Technology & Process Improvement:
- Stay updated with advancements in telematics and fleet management technology.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation in fleet operations.
- Implement best practices to enhance fleet reliability and sustainability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Honours in Projects or Supply Chain Management (Preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years in fleet management, logistics, or supply chain.
- Proven experience with telematics systems and fleet analytics.
- Strong understanding of operational efficiencies, compliance, and risk management.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in telematics software and fleet management tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage projects and drive process improvements.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Fleet Management Certification
