Seeks to recruit a suitable applicant to the following position

Commencing as soon as possible

BURSAR

Responsibilities:

· Month end procedures

· Creditors

· Cash book`

· Debtors

· Credit card reconciliation

· Internal audit and company procedures

· General - scholarships, bursaries, fundraising & debt collection

The successful candidate must have:

· a minimum of an accounting certificate

· Computer literacy, time management skills

· 5 years experience in the same field and preferably in a school environment

· Knowledge of accounting package Pastel

· Strong analytical skills

· Attention to detail

· Organizational skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Trustworthy, integrity and transparency

· Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information and sensitive data

Be prepared to work according to the Holy Cross Catholic ethos, specifications and policies
